Spotify

There are so many ways to use Spotify to enhance classroom instruction and build students' global competency. Because there is such a variety of genres and listening experiences available on Spotify, it is easy to find something to tie into whatever content you're teaching. For example, the Duolingo Spanish Podcast offers a series of podcast for Spanish learners that expose them to cultural topics, trends, movies, and people. In class we use it to enhance our listening skills but also to learn about people's perspectives. There are podcasts about immigration, biodiversity and growing up in repressive regimes, but also about more light-hearted topics like the movie Coco.
