Global Citizenship in the Classroom

This a very comprehensive guide to implementing global citizenship in the classroom. But it also serves as an excellent way to self-assess your reasoning and positions as a global citizen and educator. Reflection questions are incorporated throughout the document to help guide you through the process of becoming globally competent as person.

But what stands out in this document is that it really provides ways and examples of becoming a global educator. After learning how much a of global citizen one is, the document transitions into a guide to develop one's self as a global educator. It includes a planning framework and key ideas for classroom practice. It also provides content-specific examples as one assesses how that global citizenship would look in their own classroom.
